Question 1

What size waist belt do I need for the leash?

Accepted Answer

The waist belt fits waists from 28" to 44" (70–112 cm). It is fully adjustable using the quick-lock slider, just loosen, fit to your waist, and lock it in place. Most runners find the medium setting comfortable for running.

Question 2

Which harness size should I choose for my dog?

Accepted Answer

We recommend measuring your dog's neck circumference and chest circumference before ordering. Our size guide: M fits dogs with a 41–57 cm neck and 55–67 cm chest; L fits 46–64 cm neck and 63–90 cm chest; XL fits 56–80 cm neck and 73–84 cm chest. When in doubt, size up, the harness is fully adjustable at 4 points.

Question 3

Can I use the leash without the harness?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely. The leash attaches to any standard D-ring on a dog collar or harness. You do not need to use both together, though the combo is optimised for the best running experience, the front-clip harness eliminates pulling before it starts.

Question 4

How does the bungee shock-absorption work?

Accepted Answer

The leash contains a 30–50 cm elastic bungee core sewn inside the outer nylon webbing. When your dog surges forward or changes direction suddenly, the bungee stretches to absorb up to 15 kg of pull force, protecting your lower back and your dog's neck. It then recoils smoothly without snapping back.

Question 5

Is the gear machine washable?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Both the leash and harness are made from 900D nylon and can be machine washed on a cold, gentle cycle. Air dry only, do not tumble dry, as heat can damage the bungee elastic and buckle mechanisms.

Question 6

Question 8

Can I use PawJogger gear for other activities besides running?

Accepted Answer

Yes, the leash and harness work great for hiking, cycling, and urban walking. The waist-mount design is especially useful for trail hiking where you need both hands free. The reflective trim makes it ideal for early morning and evening activities.

Question 9

My dog pulls hard. Will this damage the bungee leash?

Accepted Answer

The bungee is rated for dogs up to 45 kg (100 lbs) of bodyweight and 15 kg of sustained pull force. For very large or extremely strong dogs, we recommend starting with the front-clip harness to teach loose-leash running before using the bungee system.
