June — German shorthaired pointerTested by June, my dog
Origin · No. 001

The reason I built this thing.

Her name is June. Shes a German shorthaired pointer, four years old, and she has zero interest in rest days. The shoes go on, shes at the door. No questions.

I tried three different leashes before giving up. One ripped through my wrist. One snapped. The third had me tangled at every turn. So I started prototyping in my kitchen with industrial buckles and bungee cord from a climbing shop down the road. June was the test dog. She still is.

After about a year of iterations, this is what we run with every morning. A belt that lets my arms swing. A bungee that takes the yank when she catches a scent. A harness that sits where it should and doesnt ride up. Nothing fancy. Just gear that does its job.

Same kit, very different mornings.

I wear the same belt for a 3 km loop and for a 25 km trail. The harness goes on June the same way both times. The only thing that changes is the playlist.

Mode 01 · Jog

The Morning Jog

Hands-free waist belt. The reflective stitching matters more than youd think at 6:30 in November.

Mode 02 · Trail

The Trail Run

The bungee is the part that earned its keep. June sees a squirrel, pulls hard, my shoulder doesnt notice. Stable on descents thanks to the 4-point fit.

Mode 03 · Hike

The Long Hike

Padded panels for the long hours. Water-resistant, which matters when the “quick walk” turns into a six-hour Saturday.

You can buy one or the other. The Kit just comes 10 % cheaper and ships in the same box.

It actually keeps up with Strava pace

I run 4:30/km splits with my vizsla. Every other leash bounces or jerks. This one absorbs everything. Strava splits are unchanged from solo runs.

My dog stopped pulling on day one

Border collie, 4 years old, fought every leash I tried. Switched to the no-pull harness and it was night and day. We ran 5 miles the first week without a single lunge.

Way better than Amazon junk

Tried two cheaper versions before this. Stitching went after a month. This one is in its 6th month — daily runs — and looks new. Worth every penny.

Trail-proof in the Lakes

Took this through the Lake District in November. Mud, scrambling, wet rock. Buckles still snap clean, harness padding dried overnight. Bombproof.

Finally a fit that works on a lab

My yellow lab is barrel-chested. Standard harnesses ride up. The Y-front sits where it should. Morning runs are quiet again — no chafing, no readjusting.

My kelpie + me, finally synced

I've never been able to run with her without her dragging me. The hands-free belt + shock-absorber actually changed how we move together. She's a different dog now.

Will this work for my dog's size?
The harness fits dogs from 12 lbs (XS) to 95 lbs (XL). The waist belt fits humans 26″–44″. If your dog is on the edge of two sizes, we recommend sizing down for a snugger fit. Free exchange if the fit isn’t right.
How fast does it ship?
Free worldwide shipping — to your door, anywhere. Orders placed before 2 PM ship same-day from regional warehouses. Delivery is typically 5–8 business days. Tracking emailed within 24 hours.
Can I really run hands-free?
Yes — that's the whole point. The waist belt distributes the pull across your hips, and the bungee absorbs sudden pulls so you don't get yanked off your stride. Strava users see no change in pace vs. solo runs.
What if it doesn't work for us?
30-day no-questions returns. Run with it for a month. If you don't love it, send it back for a full refund — we'll cover return shipping in all worldwide.
Is this for trail running or road running?
Both. The shock-absorbing leash works on pavement, dirt, and technical trail. The Y-front harness keeps your dog stable on uneven terrain. We tested for 7,700+ miles across road, trail, and fell.
Will my puller actually stop pulling?
The 4-point harness gives you a front clip option that redirects forward momentum sideways — most dogs stop pulling within the first few runs. The hands-free belt also keeps your weight steady, which dogs read as calm.
